#BATTLETECH HEAVY METAL DLC UNLOCK TIME FULL#
It was announced on 29 July 2015 that a new BattleTech-themed game was going to be made, supported by very successful crowdfunding campaign. The Flashpoint and Heavy Metal DLCs in campaign mode will not activate until you finish the campaign and unlock the full star map, but are automatically applied at purchase. The further it moves, the harder it hits, which could give fast-moving light mechs a real leg up when things get hairy. BattleTech is a 2018 computer game by Harebrained Schemes set in the eponymous BattleTech universe. We’re not gonna abandon it, but we may take a break. The new weapons include a Mortar, the first area-of-effect weapon in the game, and the COIL Beam, with an energy output that increases based on the distance traveled by the attacking mech before firing. The eighth and final mech is unknown for now, but it's a brand-new design created exclusively for Battletech and it promises to be a beast: The trailer indicates that it's a 90-ton unit, putting it squarely in the middle of the massive Assault class.

Given that, I think it's safe to say that these are the new units we can look forward to: Warhammer WHM-6R - Battletech Wiki 507 pages in: Mechs, Heavy mechs. It gives BATTLETECH gamers 8 new Mechs and some additional weapon systems to use with deadly accuracy in this turn-based strategy game.

The new fighting machines aren't listed in the announcement, but a list of eight mechs appears on a readout in the trailer and that's probably not a coincidence.
